Ministry of Information: The Ministry of Information is a ministry responsible for the dissemination of timely, accurate, relevant and objective information to its local and international audience through its mainstream as well as social media outlets. Moreover, the Ministry is responsible for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws pertaining to information, broadcasting, and the press and press products. The Ministry of Information has a vision of creating an influential and competitive media at national, regional and international levels.

Currently, the Ministry broadcasts two television Channels, (Eri-TV Channel 1 and Eri-TV channel 2 aired locally); three radio channels (radio Dimtsi Hafash, Radio Zara and Radio Numa); and publishes four newspapers (Haddas Ertra, Eritrea Alhaditha, Eritrea Haddas, and Eritrean Profile) in different local and foreign languages. Ministry of Land, Water, & Environment: The ministry was established in 1997 by bringing in together three different departments of Land, Water, and Environment. Latter Cadaster was later promoted to department level to become the fourth department of the ministry. The Ministry’s main mission is to ensure proper conservation, sustainable management, and use of land, water and environmental resources. Since independence, commendable progresses have been registered.
